How to give back this season
This year has no doubt been different to what we're used to, and it's safe to say we're looking forward to a better 2021. Many families are unable to spend it together due to the current pandemic, or may not be able to afford a lavish Christmas and new year. However, there are ways you can get involved and give back this season.

If you're living with family, have a rummage through any toys, games, books or accessories you no longer want or need after Christmas and donate them to The Salvation Army. They run an appeal during the festive season and beyond to really help change someones life. There are a few different ways they are taking donations, so head to the page to find out what you can do in your local area.
There are lots of ways that you can help BookTrust change lives by getting children and families reading. This season, you can donate £10 to BookTrust to send a special book gift to a vulnerable child. Some parcels will be given out through community food banks to help some families who have been adversely affected by lockdowns and who are facing a difficult Winter.
You can do something incredible this year for those families that may be struggling to pay for their meal this Winter. By donating just £25 to Feed London, you will help cover the cost of family meals across London. This will include - ingredients and recipes a family needs for tasty meals throughout the festive season (they chose from a selection of menus) plus recipes, treats for the children, a £100 supermarket voucher and much more.
