Wow what a year it’s been!! as you are all aware it’s our second birthday and this year for us, as it has been for many, has been a year of high’s and low’s.

The highs have been, to be able to continue growing a small business in a year fraught with difficulties. To be able to give back to the NHS during the first lockdown in a huge giveaway, was a moment of pride for the whole team. Izzy, our designer, had her beautiful baby boy Toby and though we haven’t met in person, we have seen pictures and he is gorgeous, Izzy and her husband are doing well and thoroughly enjoying parenthood.

The lows have been, periods of uncertainty in retail. With so many businesses and families fighting an uphill battle in these uncertain times, we are mindful of that daily and are trying to work smarter to keep our small business on course. The long hours of work that my whole small team have stepped up to and embraced, I am so incredibly grateful and proud of how hard everyone has worked through this pandemic to help me keep Truly pushing forward.

The first lockdown gave us an opportunity to re-evaluate and really take a look at Truly and to listen to you, our Truly family, in regards to what you need from us. From product, customer service, opening up new countries that we deliver to, we have heard you and responded accordingly. Developing a whole new look for our business, from the logo to the look and feel of our website. We have designed new products that we believe you are going to enjoy as much as we do, have changed the look of our emails so that they represents the new look Truly, have made it easier for you to shop the products that you love, have developed a gifting service so that you can send gifts to your loved ones and have opened up more shipping destinations so you can buy or ship abroad.

Thank you for your feedback both positive and negative, this gives us an opportunity to make things better, and from the bottom of my heart thank you to Ashleigh, Rachel, Manisha, Magda, Izzy and Ed for your commitment to making Truly everything I dream it can be.
