Inspired by Blue Planet and frustrated at the state of the high-street, we decided to do something Truly different and sustainable.

As a team we are wholly passionate about this crazy, beautiful planet we live on. However, we are also completely in love with fashion so we are making every effort to be as kind to the environment as possible. So, what are we doing to incorporate sustainable practices into our supply chain?

We’ve worked with our favourite mills and suppliers to bring you a new kind of Spring knit. Our fine knit Slogan Crew is made of sustainable cotton, blended with Seacell^TM (derived from wood pulp, mixed with seaweed, where no chemicals are released as waste). This laid-back crew sweat in a super-soft yarn is the perfect casual knit for chilly Spring days.

Every Spring wardrobe needs a perfect Breton – and our striped long-sleeve crew is just the thing for cool Spring days. This particular top is made from the world’s finest sustainable Supima® cotton and spun with pure, traceable cashmere. It’s as divinely soft as it is practical.

We've got the perfect Hareem Joggers, made in Lenzing® Modal with a little elastane to preserve the shape and avoid any saggy bums. Lenzing® Modal is produced using innovative environmental processes and allows 95% of production materials to be recovered. It’s carbon neutral too: using 10 -20 times less water than cotton production, and sourced from sustainably managed beech tree plantations in Europe.

Our super soft Truly white tees are made from a bamboo and organic cotton blend. Bamboo is a natural renewable source, and organic cotton is grown without harmful pesticides or chemicals – making this a consciously considered choice.

The Truly denim range is made in a European environmentally conscious factory that is GOTS-certified. This means our denim is organic, and the factory is committed to driving social compliance throughout the supply chain – right back to the cotton farms. Also, 70% of the water used in production is recycled during production, something we’re Truly proud of!

Truly Considered products use an extensive range of sustainable and environmentally conscious fabrics and techniques. Sourcing sustainable fabrics takes time and can often cost more than non-sustainable options. However, we believe that the extra time and additional costs are worth it if it can help our environment in any way.
