Remember Remember the 5th of November  

 

Now the clocks have gone back its officially Winter, time to wrap up warm, dust of those wellies and gather round a bonfire for Guy Fawkes Night.  

 

With nearly every town, city and neighbourhood hosting their own event, we’ve simplified the celebration by selecting some of our favourites across the country.  

 

For those of us in and around London 

 

ALEXANDRA PALACE FIREWORKS FESTIVAL 3/4th November  2023: The daddy of north London bonfire events, Ally Pally's Fireworks Festival is more than a mere pyrotechnics display — in fact it's been described as the 'Glastonbury of fireworks'. In the past, family-friendly activities have included an ice disco and film screenings; there have been street food stalls by StrEATlife festival, plus a German Bier Festival (complete with Elvis tribute) for older audience members. And that's before we even get to the fireworks themselves, which are released against a stunningly scenic backdrop. A huge, roaring bonfire is the icing on the cake toffee on the apple.  

Battersea Park – 4th /5th November 

Saturday Night
Saturday Bonfire Night will host a stunning firework display and a spectacular bonfire, alongside plenty of options for winter comfort food and warming drinks.

Sunday Night
Family night returns with an earlier start time, and its own unique and stunning Fireworks display and whilst the grown-ups are enjoying a mulled wine - the kids can enjoy plenty of activities

 

For those of you in the North 

 

Blackpool Pleasure Beach Fireworks – 4th November 

Celebrate the end of the season with the Blackpool Pleasure Beach Fireworks. Perfect for the entire family the night even includes the famous Blackpool Illuminations, illuminated trams and live entertainment all on the Pier. 

 

River Tyne - Fireworks at the Fort -2nd November 

Looking for something totally different? Bring your ooohh’s and aahh’s to the iconic Swan Hunter and watch the fireworks explode out of the fort! 

For those of you in the Middle 

 

Kenilworth Castle Fireworks Gala – 4th November 

Being the main public event for Kenilworth Castle you know it's going to be good. With the Castle as a backdrop, you’ll be entertained with a few warmup pops and bangs followed by the main event. Eat, drink and be merry with a range of food and drink tents as well as Knick knack stalls.  

Edgbaston Fireworks Spectacular & Fun Fair -3rd /4th November 

On the grounds of the Stadium, it's set to be the biggest public display in Birmingham. With an Ibiza classics-themed fireworks night on the 3rd November and a fireworks spectacular and funfair on the 4th November it caters to all.

For those of you in the South 

Lewes Bonfire Celebrations – 5th November 

The Lewes Bonfire Night, or the #LewesBonfire Night Celebrations, is the biggest celebrated Fifth November Event in the world, and is held in the usually peaceful county town of Lewes (pronounced “lu-is or loo-is”), East Sussex, every year on 5th November, and the carnival or festival is known as either the Lewes Bonfire Night Celebrations, Lewes Bonfire Night or just simply the Fifth.

Leeds Castle Fireworks Spectacular – 4th/5th November 

With something like 25,000 fireworks set to fill the sky it’s the biggest firework display in the South East of England. Held across two days with the backdrop of the Castle there is plenty of entertainment in the daytime there’s live music, falconry display and use of the maze then come the evening a Club Classic DJ set and a fairground.  

Legoland Brick or Treat

The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort will be transformed into a pumpkin-filled wonderland for what is sure to be the most frightfully fun event of the year perfect for the young, and the young at heart! 

As if it wasn’t hard enough to pick through these amazing ones, we have a couple near Truly HQ including :

 Stoke Park

Join Stoke Park on Sunday 5th November for their amazing fireworks display. The evening will begin at 5:30pm with the lighting of the bonfire at 6pm, Ticket prices are £20 for adults, £10 for children under 12 and under 3's go free.

 

 

Beaconsfield Big Bang at the Cricket Club

On Saturday 4th November from 5pm, join Beaconsfield Cricket Club for their fireworks spectacular, brought to you by Titanium Fireworks, responsible for delivering the magnificent London New Year's Eve and Edinburgh Hogmanay Fireworks Displays.

Danesfield House

Danesfield House opens its doors to families and local residents of Marlow, Henley and surrounding villages for their annual Firework Night celebration. Join Danesfield for a spectacular evening of fireworks, hot snacks and children’s entertainment. Gates open from 5:30pm
