Product Care Guide
WASH LESS, WEAR MORE
Always keep in mind that it is best for your garment and the envronment if you wash your clothing as little as possible. Over washing your clothing can lead to premature deterioration of materials and also weighs heavy on your energy bill. Try to treat stains immediately and air your clothes properly to avoid unnecessary washing.
FOLLOW THE LABEL
Always remain mindful to follow the washing and care instructions stated on the label. We use quality materials at Truly and feel passionately that you continue to care for them appropriately. You can find these instructions on the label located on the inside of your garment or refer to the specific product page on our site to locate more information.

TREAT STAINS IMMEDIATELY
To reduce the likelihood of permanent staining, we advise that you act fast to treat stains immediately. Avoid rubbing, but instead, blot or sponge the stain to lift it as best as possible before treating the garment.
Caring For Luxury Fabrics
Silk
Hand wash in cold water with a mild silk-friendly detergent. Leave to soak for a few minutes. Rinse with fresh water. Remove excess water by gently pressing your silk into a ball- Do not ring out!
Leave your silk to dry flat on a towel or hang your silk on a padded hanger to allow creases to drop out. Do not tumble dry. Do not leave to dry in direct sunlight or on a radiator. Iron on a cool setting.
Avoid storing in sunlight as this may weaken fibre and fade colour. If storing for a long period of time, hang silk in a breathable fabric bag. Do not store in plastic, as this may lock in moisture and damage fabric.
Cashmere
If your knitwear starts to look a bit bobbly, use a pill comb to remove the pilling.
Wash inside out at 30 degrees (or use the hand wash setting) with similar colours. Spin on a low setting and reshape when damp.
Do not tumble dry. Dry flat on an airer or radiator. Iron no higher than 110 degrees as you may damage the yarn.
Homeware Care Guide
BE MATERIAL MINDFUL
When cleaning your homeware, consult the product page on the site to clarify what material/s you are dealing with. Either follow the washing instructions on the label or use a damp cloth on hardware. Avoid oil or dark materials when cleaning marble or wood.
CARING FOR BED & BATH
Wash bed linen and towels weekly. When washing towels, avoid using fabric conditioner to protect the loops and prolong fluffiness. White bed linen can be refreshed by using the correct dosage of detergent to prevent build-up and reduce the risk of greying or dulling.
FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES
When purchasing homeware, please refer to the care label and follow any guidelines provided. Our stoneware will state whether it is dishwasher & microwave safe on the product and all bedding will include washing instructions.
