Friday Fiesta Beef Taco's


Spice Mix

1/4 tbsp chilli powder

1/4 tbsp ground cumin

1/4 tbsp ground coriander

1/4 tbsp smoked paprika

1/4 tbsp ground cinnamon

2tsp dried oregano 

1 Onion finely chopped

2 Celery stick finely Chopped

500g Beef Mince

Chilli finely chopped - to taste

2 tbs Tomato Paste

1 tbs Brown Sugar

1 tin chopped tomatoes

400ml Beef Stock

1 tin Kidney Beans

2 squares dark chocolate 70% plus

Garnish Jalapeno, Guacamole, Sour Cream and Coriander


Prep all your ingredients beforehand and combine your spices. (1/4 tbsp chilli powder, 1/4 tbsp ground cumin, 1/4 tbsp ground coriander, 1/4 tbsp smoked paprika, 1/4 tbsp ground cinnamon, 2tsp dried oregano)

Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat. 

Add in your onions and celery sticks for 2 minutes. 

Add in your beef mince and cook for 2 minutes breaking it up as you go. 

Add in your chilli, and combined spices. 

Add in your tomato paste and brown sugar along with your chopped tomatoes. 

Followed by your 400ml of beef stock, kidney beans and your chocolate. 

Cook until water has evaporated and you're left with a juicy, not watery beef filling. 

Top with your fresh coriander and season with salt and pepper to taste! 

Top with jalapenos and cheese and serve with guacamole, sour cream and taco shells!
